Our main reason for hiring Jennifer to remodel our kitchen was to get more storage space and to make the lower cabinets more accessible. Using the same footprint, she increased our square footage of storage from 60 to over 90 square feet. She turned all of our lower cabinets into drawers, increasing our number of drawers from 6 to 18. We no longer have to go to our storage shelves in the basement to retrieve kitchen supplies. We also don't need to get on hands and knees to reach supplies that had been buried in lower cabinets before. Jennifer is a master in the use of space. Her sense of design is also outstanding. Our new kitchen now matches the aesthetic of the rest of our home and the unique backsplash that she suggested is the envy of our friends. We are over-the-top pleased with our final product. She was very easy to talk to, really knows her product lines and was very efficient throughout the process. Now she's helping to remodel our master bath! You can't go wrong with Jennifer from start to finish.

Jennifer Hissa did a fantastic job as my kitchen and bath designer! I hired her after she worked with my partner after a flood. In doing that work, she simply replaced what was there before. In my case, she did a complete design and helped me with design outside of the kitchen/bath as I requested. People who have come to my apartment say that what she designed is simply beautiful. And I agree! By the way, this is a 1600 square-foot city apartment on the 38th floor of a Chicago high-rise. Galley kitchen and three bathrooms.
Beyond that, Jennifer provides outstanding customer service. Always responsive by phone and by text. Flexible in accommodating my changing schedule and travel. She lives 45 miles from me but was often in the apartment, often to help me with design and to work with the contractor. She was very responsive to the contractor as well in making sure things were installed correctly.
She showed enormous flexibility and creativity when at the last minute the provider of cabinets abruptly went out of business. She was able to pivot effortlessly - so it appeared to me, though I doubt that that was the case. Additionally, she has a lovely showroom, though I only went there once because she was so accommodating and meeting with me wherever I needed to be.
I cannot recommend Jennifer more highly and I'm happy to provide references if anyone should wish. I have recommended her to a number of my neighbors as well
